Project Background

Hasher Mohammad Automatic Rice Mill Ltd. is one of the largest rice processing mills in the northern side of Bangladesh. It was established in 1977 and still runs to date. The rice processed at this mill is export quality and is exported to European countries.

Project Description

The purpose of installing solar energy in this establishment was not only for economic benefit, but also to increase the impression of the business as an environment-friendly exporter. The project consists of distributed large-scale rooftop solar photovoltaic generation facility and associated infrastructure, with an estimated maximum capacity of up to 600 kWp.
