Project Background

Hotel Gairing is one of the earliest well-maintained hotels in Khagrachhari. It was built near the beginning of tourist boom in the hill tracts. It is on 7^th floor and the roof is on the 8^th floor of the building. The rooftop gets a clear view and sufficient sunlight throughout the year.

Project Description

The owner of Hotel Gairing wanted to know the difference between setting up a hybrid solar and buying a diesel generator to cover the load shedding in the tourist season, so he ordered a feasibility test on his rooftop. The rooftop had
